American Lung Association Honors Brett Penager with Volunteer of the Year Award
The American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest recognized Brett Penager, the Chief Marketing Officer and founding partner of Chiro One Wellness Centers, as its 2010 Volunteer of the Year at an awards ceremony on June 26, 2010. Penager was chosen from a seven-state region for his exceptional leadership, fundraising, and commitment to the organization's mission. Over a three-year period, Penager utilized both his individual corporation, B. Anthony International, and Chiro One Wellness Centers to market and heavily sponsor key events like Lung Walks, Stair Climbs, and the Lake Tour Bike Trek across Chicagoland. In addition to joining the Local Leadership Board, his promotional efforts to patients and staff allowed him to personally raise and donate a total of $52,475.00 to support lung health education, advocacy, and research.
